About the Trip:
This summer Imre and Peter will be traveling the route of the Klondike Gold Rush. It starts with a hike across the Coast Range mountains in Alaska on the Chilkoot Trail from Skagway to Bennett, British Columbia. From there they will canoe the Yukon River out to the Bering Sea, and end the trip in Emmonak, Alaska. Along the approximate 2100 mile route there will be more bears than people, and incredible stretches of pure untouched wilderness. They have been training for since October and will keep training till June when the trip finally starts. As before they are doing this trip to raise awareness for the Blind Judo Foundation, which helps blind kids, athletes and veterans compete in the sport of Judo.
